What is the tdi film festival



The TDI Film Festival is open to anyone with a creative mind. Once we open submissions, our three judges will narrow down the films and we will premiere them in person to determine the winner. The winner's work will be submitted to the Sundance, Tribeca, and Whistler Film Festivals at no cost to the winner. And remember, if you win you will always be an award winning filmmaker!





How long does the film need to be



We have no requirement for how long it needs to be, but the film cannot exceed 10 minutes. What we are looking for is impact and leaving a message. If that message takes you 5 minutes, then perhaps that is all you need.





What if I can't attend in person



We expect submissions to be from all around which is why the event will be streamed and the link will be emailed to everyone who submitted. Until the night of the Festival the nominees will not be known but the night of, a pamphlet will be sent out with all the films and their accredited directors.





Will there be costs



As this is a fundraising event, we ought to have some costs to raise for the charity. There will be a submission fee of $10 with the option to give more if you feel inclined. Additionally, the Festival itself will have tons of merchandise and refreshments that 100% goes towards the charity. Even the online stream will have incentives to donate and options to purchase.
